Anyone could make a flute and sell a flute but we do things right. When a flute is finished we go back and test them at least three times before we send them to our customers. We are proud of our flutes and bands come to us simply on recommendation from other bands. Our workshop and staff are experts and have years of experience repair and woodwind instruments
Can I just say that your flutes are the ideal flute for any marching band. I have heard all the sale pitches from different manufacturers and have tested each flute, but I don't buy into what others claim that their wood is seasoned for 45 years, they must think bandsmen are stupid and that's why they sell their flutes at a higher price.
Guys, you are doing a great job, your flutes tune in with my Crown AZ's and your quality in excellent and I've heard your flutes perform well both on the march and in competitions, so keep up the good work.

I have tried a lot of flutes in my time but none can compare to a Mullan Bb Flute. I own a Crown AZ flute and both are identical in look and in sound. Your price is very competitive.

We have just purchased 6 new Mullan F Flutes.
St. Mary's Fife and Drum Band | Limerick, Republic of Ireland | May 2013
Over the years we have constantly trying to source a flute to suit the band and to try and achieve a sound which we are happy with. This has cost a small fortune as in a 10 year period we have had 3 different makes of flute and never been happy with any.
We now in the Mullan Bb have an instrument we are happy with and the band has been successful at contests etc since we moved to them. Also they are affordable which is important to all bands and they value for money factor for the flute you are getting is hard to beat.
We have now ordered the new Mullan F to add to our instrumentation and hopefully a piccolo soon to complete the set.
I would not hesitate to recommend the Mullan range of flutes to any band experienced or novice they really are a joy to play.
Ardrossan Winton Flute Band | Ayrshire, Scotland | May 2013
We purchased 25 new Mullan Bb flutes with the help of Arts Council for Northern Ireland funding. A number of options were considered before choosing the Mullan flute. We felt the same type of flute would assist in tuning so, with buying so many, we had to balance quality with cost. The Mullan flutes provide the right balance. We consider them value for money.
